Lets take a sneak peak at a restored gem inside the paint booth at Mike’s Quality Bodyworks.

It’s a 1941 Ford sporting a brand new dark cherry paint finish which originates from a 1992-ish Cadillac paint color. Mike’s staff did a bang up job creating this high shine mirror like finish.

Mike mentions that the day before, they applied the color coat, and the next morning they clear coated it and the video shows how deep and wet this dry coat looks.

Hey look, what’s this? A piece of dust finds it’s way onto the brand new painted top coat. That’s not a problem…a wee bit of wet sanding will remove the blemish and the car restoration will have a perfection coat to die for. Pretty darn good job!
